In Memoriam ...
Founding board member, Dr. Sandra Neese, passed away in 1998. Sandra served on the board of Community Chest for seven years. To honor her life’s work as a child advocate, Community Chest implemented a lifetime achievement award in her name. This award, given annually at the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth, is now in its fifth year. Sandra was a friend and confidant to all of those who enriched the lives of young people in Nevada. Her vital presence is felt to this day.
